Based On True Stories is an amalgamation of channeled experimentations in the form of internal questions. I would ask myself what if I play along with an accidental loop? What if Bossa nova is made with only minor chords? What if an entire song is written backwards? On and on... It's refining the original ideas sculpting the frequencies with acoustics, glitches, pedals, and filters. The compositions and the productions are rooted in nostalgia with my influences and knowledge in sound engineering. The songs are thoughtfully arranged and delicately woven into stories for which the listener can visualize his/her interpretations.
